Take your cues from nature.
We can learn a lot from nature and the natural rhythm of the world if we pause long enough to simply observe.
All summer, the trees have been nurturing and feeding their leaves. And now, they’re ready to shed them; release them to the earth so the trees can hibernate and begin to their season of restoration.
Let’s take this cue from nature and use this time to shed the stories we tell ourselves that don’t serve us. Let go of grievances that may have made us as red as fall leaves with anger. Release some of the angst that’s built up inside.
Over the coming weeks, write all your stories, grievances and angst in a journal. With each instance you write, you’re letting it fall away like the leaves on your tree. This will put you in a place of peace and calm that’s required to reenergize.
